Swasthavritta & Yoga – Preventive Medicine & Health Promotion

Swasthavritta is the branch of Ayurveda dedicated to the preservation and promotion of health in healthy individuals — preventive healthcare, daily & seasonal regimens, dietetics, hygiene, and positive lifestyle practices.

The department integrates classical Swasthavritta principles with Yoga therapy, Naturopathy concepts, and modern public health approaches. It teaches Dinacharya (daily routine), Ritucharya (seasonal regimen), Sadvritta (ethical conduct), Yoga Asanas, Pranayama, and Meditation to build immunity, balance mind-body, and prevent lifestyle diseases.
